TEKsystems Global Services To Create $4.8 million IT Center In Irving, Texas, With Plans to Hire 500 Employees

TEKsystems Global Services provides services in software development and maintenance, quality assurance and testing, ETL and report conversion and help desk outsourcing. This new facility will focus on the development and maintenance of mission critical software applications to complement the company's existing core services in key vertical markets.
As an incentive, Gov. Rick Perry said the state will provide the firm with $1.1 million through the Texas Enterprise Fund to close the deal on this new facility and this job creation. "Here in Texas, we've found the right combination of low taxes, reasonable regulations, skilled workforce and competitive incentives that have helped our state create jobs, attract businesses and provide opportunities for our citizens," Gov. Perry said. "Companies like TEKsystems know that when they choose Texas, they get access to a world-class workforce and an economic environment that's second to none."
"We look forward to working with the city of Irving and the state of Texas to accomplish our mutual goals and grow the economy. Adding this new center in Irving strengthens our existing network of delivery centers allowing us to better serve our clients and provide a true global delivery model. It simply gives us more ways to provide excellent service and flexibility to our clients by tapping into the right skills quickly, efficiently and effectively," TEKsystems Global Services Vice President Randy Verdino said.
"Additionally, this delivery center in Irving allows us to provide organizations with solutions and available technical talent to achieve results that are often not possible in other local markets. We intend to leverage Irving's tremendous wealth of talent at every level by working with local colleges for emerging skills and also hiring experienced people seeking new challenges.
