ProNamic Industries Invests $8.5 Million To Locate Facility At Beaufort County, North Carolina, Industrial Park

The company is a raw material provider to the filtration industry. The company also provides media solutions to the air filtration industry.
“ProNamic Industries is a great fit for North Carolina and Beaufort County,” said Gov. Pat McCrory. “We’re focusing on recruiting companies and growing jobs in key economic sectors so our state has what it takes for businesses to succeed, and advanced manufacturing is high on that list.”
“North Carolina has the highly skilled workforce that companies need to be competitive in a global economy,” said Sharon Decker, N.C. Secretary of Commerce. “ProNamic Industries’ decision to locate in Beaufort County will provide employment opportunities for an area that was hit hard by the recession.”
The Governor’s Office said the project was made possible in part by a performance-based grant from the One North Carolina Fund of up to $156,000. The grant is contingent upon proof of job creation and receipt of a local funding match. The One NC Fund provides financial assistance, through local governments, to attract business projects that will stimulate economic activity and create new jobs in the state. Companies receive no money up front and must meet job creation and investment performance standards to qualify for grant funds.
Project Announcements
Nelson Brothers LLC, a joint venture between Nelson Brothers Inc. and Orica USA Inc., plans to expand its operations in Walker County, Alabama. The $19.4 million project is expected to create five jobs.
