Candle-Maker Illume Expands Minneapolis Production and Distribution Facility

Candle and home fragrance producer Illume has expanded its Minneapolis, Minnesota manufacturing and distribution facility, the company announced yesterday. The facility now measures approximately 100,000 square feet.

"We've experienced significant growth this past year," said Liz Barrere, senior vice president of Illume. "Our successful retail partnerships and increased brand awareness have created an opportunity for us to grow both our domestic and international manufacturing capabilities."

The company built a new order fulfillment center and finished goods warehouse and implemented environmentally-friendly features. Those include energy-efficient temperature controls and floors made from recycled materials.

Illume's clients include retailers Anthropologie and Target.
