TYC Americas Plans Wixom, Michigan, Manufacturing Operations

The new vehicle equipment manufacturing facility will service customers throughout North America.
“TYC is proud to announce the opening of the Michigan Mobility Center in Wixom,” said John Kovalik, TYC Americas OEM Operations and Strategy. “This site will expand our global reach with world class Engineering and Manufacturing.“
The project is being supported by the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF) with a $981,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant.
“The City of Wixom is thrilled to welcome TYC Americas and their new research and development hub to the community. They have a beautiful facility, and we’re excited to support their growth and success over the coming years,” noted Drew Benson, Assistant City Manager & Director of Economic Development for the City of Wixom. “There is a long history of high-end manufacturers like TYC finding success in Wixom, and we sincerely appreciate TYC’s innovative presence and significant investment into our community.”
TYC Americas is a manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket auto parts and currently operates five distribution sites in Ontario, California; Coppell, Texas; Aurora, Illinois; Suwanee, Georgia; and Monroe, New Jersey.
