Bell Techlogix Invests $1.4 Million Expansion in Central Indiana, Creating Over 200 Jobs

Bell Techlogix, a provider of IT services and solutions, will invest $1.4 million expand its corporate headquarters and operations in Indianapolis, Indiana, creating up to 204 new jobs by 2016.

Bell officials said the firm will lease, renovate and equip a 100,000 square-foot facility in the Mayflower Business Park at 4400 W. 96th St. in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. The 100,000 square-foot facility, of which Bell will occupy 53,000 square-feet, is expected to be operational by the end of October.

"Central Indiana has become a national leader in the growth of information technology, and here comes another example," said Gov. Mitch Daniels.

The company employs approximately 450 Hoosiers at its three Indiana locations, including 200 employees in Indianapolis. Indiana Economic Development officials said Bell is already hiring professionals in Indianapolis, with skills ranging from call center service desk agents and computer depot personnel to highly skilled IT engineers and architects. The company also plans to fill positions to support Bell's corporate headquarters, including executive management, sales, marketing, internal IT, human resources and finance.

"Through our relentless dedication to the success of our clients, Bell continues to achieve significant business growth of our IT service offerings for end-user computing, enterprise mobility, technology infrastructure operations and IT asset lifecycle management, which provide exceptional value to our clients by enabling them to be more efficient and productive," Coleman added.

As an incentive, Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Bell Techlogix, Inc. up to $1,120,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $125,000 in training grants based on the company's job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The city of Carmel also supported the project with tax incentives.
