White River Energetics Expands Des Arc, Arkansas, Manufacturing Operations
09/10/2024
The investment will include the expansion of the company’s existing facility and the construction of a single-base smokeless propellant factory. The expansion is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2026.
“This smokeless propellant factory will enable us to supply propellant to the global shortage that is affecting munitions availability,” Dan Powers, President & CEO of D&M Holding Company, Inc. told the TV station.“We are proud to have chosen Des Arc for this investment and look forward to adding the additional jobs for the community.”
“Congratulations to White River Energetics and to the City of Des Arc on this successful economic development project,“ noted Clint O’Neal, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC). “This project hits the sweet spot in Arkansas: the growth of the firearms and ammunition industry led by innovative entrepreneurs, which is resulting in new jobs and investment in a rural community.”
White River Energetics, LLC (WRE) is a newly formed and wholly owned subsidiary of D&M Holding Company, Inc. WRE supports a wide range of domestic and international clients in defense and sporting markets through the manufacture and distribution of primers for small caliber ammunition.
