Apex Plastics Builds Warehouse in Brookfield, Missouri
09/11/2018
The new warehouse is one and a half times bigger than the current warehouse, at about 22,275 square feet of clear span warehouse space with no columns, or any other obstructions. The construction began back in May of this year, and it is expected to be completed by October of the current year.
"The new space will allow Apex to meet its current customers' needs, while accommodating future growth," says Nick Hansen, Operations Manager at Apex Plastics. "The new building is strategically designed to accept an additional expansion of new production space in the future."
"At Apex Plastics we are committed to offering the best quality and service to our customers, and this expansion will allow us to do just that," said Damon Neff, President of Apex Plastics. "Our company is rapidly growing, and we are adding more capabilities to meet the increasing demand of our industry. This expansion will allow us to increase production, and better respond to our customers' requests and special orders."
The total cost of the new infrastructure will be $1.5 million; this is part of their continuous commitment to improvements. Earlier this year, Apex announced the addition of a new Aoki 250LL-50S, which allowed the company to add the capability of injection blow-molding and running PET Material.
