Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Connecticut Moves HQ to Wallingford

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Connecticut has moved its state headquarters to Wallingford. The company will relocate 500 employees by September 2011 to its new 218,000-square-foot space.

"We are pleased that Anthem chose to remain within this region and to become part of Wallingford's business community," said Wallingford Mayor William Dickinson, Jr.

Located at the Campus at Green Hill, the facility will be built to LEED standards, and will be one of Connecticut's most environmentally-friendly facilities.
