Taiwan-Based E Ink Expands Billerica, Massachusetts, Headquarters Operations

Electronic paper technology company E Ink plans to expand its operations in Billerica, Massachusetts.

The project at the company’s existing headquarters facility will feature a new workspace designed to support collaboration and accelerate the development of ePaper technologies and applications.

"Today's groundbreaking marks an exciting milestone for E Ink as we further invest in the people, technologies, and infrastructure that drive innovation," said Paul Apen, Chief Business and Operations Officer at E Ink. "Expanding our Billerica campus strengthens our ability to advance technology innovation in the United States, support our customers around the world, and contribute to the continued growth of the local economy and innovation community."

E Ink Holdings is a manufacturer of electronic paper display technology used in e-readers, retail signage, transportation systems, industrial devices, and other low-power display applications. The company specializes in electronic paper research and development, display manufacturing, materials engineering, and commercialization of ePaper technologies.
