Centrix Solutions Opens Operations Center In Lincoln, Nebraska
08/22/2016
According to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, the space will accommodate about 100 full-time employees with skills and experience in financial services software.
“This announcement from Q2 and Centrix Solutions underscores the ongoing growth of the tech community in Nebraska,” said Governor Pete Ricketts. “We have developed a national reputation as a startup hub, which has earned the name of Silicon Prairie. Silicon Prairie companies like Q2 are creating great opportunities and quality, high-paying careers that attract people to the Good Life.”
Centrix Solutions was founded by Tim Schnell and Jeff Asselin in Lincoln and acquired by Austin, Texas-based Q2 Holdings Inc., in late July 2015. Q2 is a leading provider of secure, cloud-based virtual banking solutions that enables community-focused financial institutions to effectively engage with retail and commercial account holders with the most comprehensive and adaptable smart banking platform of its kind.
“We are thrilled to solidify our place in the Lincoln community with the opening of this great facility,” said Q2 CEO Matt Flake. “The City of Lincoln and the State of Nebraska have been very accommodating throughout this process as Q2 continues to experience tremendous growth. We can’t thank Governor Ricketts, Mayor Beutler and people of Lincoln enough for their hospitality.”
The company has applied for Nebraska Advantage and is investigating available job-training funds through the Nebraska Department of Economic Development.
