Auto Supplier Expanding in Indiana

NTK Precision Axle Corporation, a manufacturer of axles for front-wheel- and four-wheel-drive vehicles, will invest $15 million to upgrade the equipment and increase manufacturing capacity at its plant in Frankfort, Indiana, according to the Indiana governor's office. The project is expected to create 50 new jobs and add additional training opportunities for the company's existing. The 270,000-square-foot facility currently employs 190 workers. NTK is a subsidiary of Japan-based NTN Corporation, which operates additional U.S. facilities in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Kentucky. Incentives offered to the company include an $87,000 training grant from the state.
