2020 Gold & Silver Shovel Awards Project of the Year: Qualtrics Doubling the Size of Utah Headquarters

A STEM-focused daycare center will be part of the Qualtrics’ headquarters expansion in Provo, which will add more than 2,200 jobs.

Q2 2020
QUALTRICS, A CUSTOMER-expe¬rience management company with co-headquarters in both Seattle and Provo, Utah, earned a Shovel Awards Project of the Year nod with its 2019 plan to double the size of its Provo HQ. The company originally announced 1,000 new jobs there but increased that to 2,245 new jobs over 10 years.

The plan includes more than 150,000 square feet of office space plus 40,000 square feet for an on-site STEM-focused daycare. There will also be a three-story outdoor terrace with meet¬ing spaces and garden views. When all is complete, the campus will total 355,000 square feet, a good bit bigger than the Provo basement where the company launched in 2002.

It was a big year for expansion an¬nouncements for Qualtrics. The com¬pany also announced a new Qualtrics Tower in Seattle, a new office building in Dublin, and an office along the river¬front in Chicago.
