Lufkin Industries Creating 120 Oil Sector Jobs in Texas

"This is not temporary," Gifford said. "We are looking at this for the long haul. We've been working on this for some time. As soon as the economy turned around, we're starting to see those results. We want to maintain our competitive advantage in the marketplace, and we want to take advantage of the growth in the industry."
The company will collaborate with Texas Workforce Solutions to locate highly skilled employees. Lufkin Industries already has 1,430 workers in Angelina County.
