10/01/2008
Fuel Total Systems, a manufacturer of automobile fuel tank components, will invest US$38 million to construct a new manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Kentucky, according to the Kentucky governor's office. The company, a subsidiary of Japan-based FTS Company Ltd., plans to create approximately 100 new jobs with the project that will pay at least $13 per hour plus benefits. The investment comes after the governor and state economic development officials met with company executives during a trip to Japan in June. Incentives offered to Fuel Total Systems include tax benefits from the state; no specific numbers or details were released.
