VonLehman & Company Inc. Develops Headquarters In Fort Wright, Kentucky
10/19/2015
“To accommodate our continued growth and to better serve our clients and staff, we have hired one of northern Kentucky’s top developers to build our new state-of-the-art office building in Fort Wright,” said Brian Malthouse, President of VonLehman. “The location of our new office – just off I-75/71 three miles from downtown Cincinnati – will be convenient to both our clients and our employees.”
Construction will begin this fall and is expected to be completed in December 2016. VonLehman will continue to operate its offices in Cincinnati and Indianapolis.
To encourage the investment and job growth in Kenton County, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved the company for tax incentives up to $300,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based incentive allows a company to keep a portion of its investment over the term of the agreement through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets.
In addition, VonLehman is eligible to receive resources from the Kentucky Skills Network. Through the Kentucky Skills Network, companies are eligible to receive no-cost recruitment and job placement services, reduced-cost customized training and job training incentives.
“Northern Kentucky continues to attract and retain great businesses. VonLehman is among 56 companies that have announced new locations and expansions this year that will bring over 2,700 jobs to the region,” said Governor Steve Beshear. “VonLehman has been a great corporate citizen for many years, and I wish its leadership and staff all the best with this expansion.”
“Von Lehman's investment and continued growth in northern Kentucky is an affirmation of this region's fertile ground for economic development and growth,” said Rep. Diane St. Onge, of Lakeside Park.
