11/01/2013
The Dennis Group opened the company’s newest location in Gwinnett County, Metro Atlanta, Georgia, at 2445 Commerce Ave., Building 2300, in the Duluth area.

“This is a very exciting endeavor for our company, which will greatly enhance our overall portfolio of services, better prepare us for the future, and create a strong regional presence in the southeast,” said Tom Dennis, President and Founder of The Dennis Group.

Formed in 1987, The Dennis Group’s 270 employees offer planning, architectural, process engineering, and construction management services exclusively to the food and beverage industry. Headquartered in Springfield, MA, the Georgia office joins two additional field locations in Utah and California.

The 35 employees that make up The DGL Atlanta team will focus on design, engineering, and execution of packaging projects, as well as a new client offering, Systems Modeling, to assist customers in planning, optimization, visualizing, and decision making.

“Georgia has become a hub for innovative companies like The Dennis Group to expand and grow,” said Chris Carr, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development. “We are confident that Georgia’s collaborative, business-friendly atmosphere and qualified talent pool will strengthen The Dennis Group’s new facility.”

“Gwinnett County is home to more than 300 engineering-related firms and 13,000 professionals holding engineering degrees, making our community an ideal location for national companies, such as The Dennis Group,” said Kellie Brownlow, Director of Economic Development for Partnership Gwinnett and Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development. “We are thrilled to add the DGL Atlanta team to our growing list of prominent businesses that have a presence in the County.”
