The investment will include an additional 88,000 square feet at the company's existing data center facility, increasing the total capacity from 2.5 megawatts to 12.5 megawatts.
“This project builds on DartPoints’ collaboration with state and local partners to expand access to critical IT power in high-growth regions. Greenville has been a part of our platform for nearly two decades. This investment reflects our confidence in the region’s talent and business environment. We’re building capacity for the kinds of workloads, including AI, research and data analytics, that are shaping how organizations operate today,” DartPoints President and CEO Scott Willis said.
DartPoints is a provider of high-performance data center solutions, including colocation, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services, primarily targeting enterprise customers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
“This $125 million expansion reflects the company’s continued confidence in South Carolina’s strong workforce and business climate. We appreciate DartPoints’ ongoing investment in Greenville County and look forward to the opportunities this project will create within the community,” Gov. Henry McMaster added.
“By expanding its operations in Greenville County, DartPoints is underscoring that South Carolina is on the cutting edge of technology. We celebrate the company’s growth and applaud its commitment to investing in the Upstate,” Secretary of Commerce Harry M. Lightsey III noted.
