Tata Technologies Creating 400 Jobs in Detroit

Tata Technologies is creating 400 engineering jobs at its Detroit, Michigan, facility to support North American auto projects. The company plans to fill the jobs by January 3, 2011.

"The positions are at automotive client sites - about 80 percent in metro Detroit, about 20 percent elsewhere in the U.S. We have about 500 employees in the U.S. now, and about 350 are assigned to the company's Novi, Michigan," said Tata Director of Communications Dan Saad.

Tata Technologies is part of India's Tata Group, which has more than 350,000 employees around the world.
