03/18/2014
“This expansion represents an exciting new phase in the growth and success of River’s Edge,” said Pat Wrob, President of River’s Edge. “We take great pride in the unique products and high-quality service that River’s Edge provides and we’re glad the City of St. Clair and the State of Missouri provide an environment accommodating to business growth.”
“The River’s Edge expansion in St. Clair speaks volumes about the opportunities available for businesses in the Show-Me State,” said Missouri Department of Economic Development Director Mike Downing. “Even Missouri’s small towns, like St. Clair, are capable of supporting growing global businesses. The state is proud to partner with River’s Edge as we work together to create jobs and move Missouri’s economy forward.”
“The City of St. Clair is excited that River’s Edge has chosen our strategic location for its global operations,” said St. Clair Mayor Ron Blum. “We applaud DED and the St. Clair Chamber of Commerce for their efforts in making this expansion possible. Together we are committed to creating jobs and improving our economy.”
To assist River’s Edge with its expansion, the Department of Economic Development offered a strategic economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria.
