Liberty Casting Invests $4.6 Million To Expand Its Delaware, Ohio, Manufacturing Center

The project will enable the firm to add new equipment and modernize its production processes. Renovation is expected to begin in the spring of 2014 and be completed in 2015, creating 52 jobs to the Columbus, Ohio Region.
“This investment in the Columbus Region was a strategic decision for Liberty Casting, with the area’s strong workforce and our longtime partnership with the City of Delaware being key factors,” said Jerry Harmeyer, CEO, Liberty Casting. “We look forward to leveraging these factors even more as we continue to build upon the company’s established presence in the Region.”
“Liberty Casting has been a good employer to 150 people in the Columbus Region, and we are happy the company has decided to expand its business here in the City of Delaware,” said Sean Hughes, Delaware, Ohio, Economic Development Director. “This is another great example of manufacturing growing in our region.
