Fidelity Communications Plans Expansion At Its Sullivan, Missouri, Headquarters Campus
04/04/2014
“Missouri continues to see an increase in high-tech jobs created by Missouri-grown companies like Fidelity Communications,” said Missouri Department of Economic Development Director Mike Downing. “The department is proud to partner with Fidelity as we work together to create next-generation jobs and move Missouri’s economy forward.”
While Fidelity has been providing services in Missouri for more than 60 years, the company has expanded its service area over the past several years to include Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana. “Our customer base has doubled in recent years and we need more space to grow the company,” said Andy Davis, Fidelity Executive General Manager. “We’re now servicing more than 60,000 customers across five states. This expansion allows us to better support our operations in multiple states by creating the jobs locally.”
“For more than six decades, Fidelity Communications has been an integral player in Sullivan’s local economy, supporting many local jobs,” said Sullivan Mayor Thomas Leasor. “I’m grateful for their dedication to our community and their continued commitment to grow and expand right here in Sullivan.”
As an incentive to assist Fidelity Communications with its expansion, the Missouri Department of Economic Development offered a strategic economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria. The City of Sullivan also partnered with Fidelity Communications to make its expansion possible.
