Medical Products Company Expanding to Kentucky

Pacific Pulmonary Services, a provider of home respiratory equipment and services, will locate a customer care center in Lexington, Kentucky. The California-based company will invest more than $1.6 million and create at least 200 full-time positions in the new center, which will be located in an existing 26,500-square-foot facility. Hiring for the new positions has already begun, and the company expects to begin operations in Lexington before the end of February. "We conducted a national search for a location that would provide us with a supportive community, high labor quality, and great growth opportunities. Lexington, and the state of Kentucky, exceeded our expectations," says Chad Martin, Pacific Pulmonary's CFO. The state has preliminarily approved tax benefits of up to $2.5 million.
