Camryn Industries Berne, Indiana, Closure Results in 250 Lay Offs

Camryn Industries, a motor vehicle seating and interior trim manufacturer, is shutting its Berne, Indiana, facility, according to a letter filed with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. The closure is a result of the company's sale to Visionary Technologies.

All 250 Camryn employees will be laid off when the plant closes this month. The workers will have the opportunity to re-apply for their jobs when Visionary begins operation of the facility on October 15.
