Professional Aircraft Accessories Invests $1.5 Million To Expand Florida Regional Airport Repair Facility
11/08/2012
The firm’s FAA certified repair station specializes in the repair and overhaul of landing gear, accessories, radar avionics and instrumentation, pressurization, radio and airframe components.
“This day has been made possible through the collaboration of the public and private sector,” Professional Aircraft Accessories President Robert Bial said. “We have been in this community since the company was founded in 1997 and the support we have received has been tremendous. We thank our partners for their efforts and contribution to our vision.” Brevard County Commissioner Robin Fisher said “A lot of credit goes to the Economic Development Commission, city and county for all trying to figure out a way to keep a good, quality company in Titusville. PAA has grown from 62 employees to 135 before this latest expansion to more than 200 now. “
“The EDC worked closely with the company, the existing building owner and county and local officials to craft a plan that helped close the gap between PAA’s present lease costs and those it had identified outside of the Titusville area. PAA now has a beautiful new facility, and the Space Coast has another key player in its increasingly diversified economy,” said Lynda Weatherman, president and CEO of the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast.
Titusville Mayor Jim Tulley said; “A lot of people have been working really hard to turn Titusville around and PAA is an example of that, of how Titusville is improving for the better. We expect a lot more of that in the future.”
