Shearer's Foods Adding 150 Jobs for New Massillon, Ohio, Facility

Shearer's Foods, a snack maker, is creating 150 jobs in Massillon, Ohio, the Daily Record reports. The company is planning a new facility set to open in March 2011.

The company is seeking processors, machine operators, packers, maintenance workers, quality assurance employees, warehouse workers, and sanitation laborers.

Shearer's will complete the second phase of the facility in January. It includes six kettle chip processing lines and a 4,200-pound per hour potato chip line. The facility is LEED certified.
