Hilton Worldwide Investing $1.8M in McLean, Virginia, HQ

02/14/2011
Hospitality firm Hilton Worldwide is investing $1.8 million in its McLean, Virginia, headquarters. The company will relocate more than 100 jobs in its supply management group.

"As we predicted when we first made the decision to move to Virginia [from Beverly Hills, California, in 2009], our new location has allowed us to operate even more effectively as a global business and has provided a great quality of life for our team members," said Christopher J. Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton Worldwide. "We appreciate all the efforts from Commonwealth and local officials to ensure a successful transition to our new headquarters and to create value for all involved."

The Virginia Department of Business Assistance (VDBA) will assist Hilton in recruiting and training new employees through its Virginia Jobs Investment Program.
