Canadian CBN Secure Technologies Growing Presence in Danville, Virginia

CBN Secure Technologies is investing $1.1 million to expand its operations in Danville, Virginia, creating 25 new jobs. The company produces secure state driver's licenses and identification cards for Virginia's Department of Motor Vehicles. CBN is based in Ottawa, Canada.

"We are impressed with the quality and commitment of the staff in Danville, and the support from the Danville area community and the Commonwealth. We are eager to grow and serve our customers with the highest standards of integrity, service, and security," said Ian Shaw, president of CBN Secure Technologies Inc.

The Danville site is CBN's first location in the United States. It has been at the facility for two years. CBN operates under parent firm Canadian Bank Note Company Ltd.
