05/29/2014
Building on 11-acres, the new 90,000 square-foot API/ISO facility includes; administrative offices and round the clock worldwide service dispatch, 20 independent service and pump unitization bays with over 100 tons of lifting capacity, 8 dedicated fabrication bays, 4 independent indoor blast and coating booths, warehousing and $10 million in parts and equipment.
MRI Chief Accounting Officer Tony McCray said: " The new campus enables us to centrally locate all operations and employees increasing our intra-company efficiency while providing faster response times to our customers."
Every production area is equipped with the proper tools and technology to repair and refurbish drilling contractors' major equipment such as mud pumps, drawworks, rotary tables, and traveling equipment as well as providing solutions for fabrication/unitization, blast/coat, and equipment testing, company officials said.
MRI's primary focus is to drive growth by offering customers a unique "one-stop" service experience for their oilfield drilling equipment needs, the company said. “The global demand for equipment in the oil and gas exploration sector has been in a consistent growth pattern for several years, and MRI's ability to offer field service, capital equipment and parts sales, in-shop equipment repair, fabrication, and abrasive blast and coating has spurred growth and driven the company to expand its capabilities over the last nine years.”
