UNI-FACS Plans $215,000 Investment At Its Columbus, Ohio, Headquarters

The metal fabrications, material processing and construction services provider also plans to add 30 jobs to the company’s current roster of 40. Hiring for the 30 new jobs, which include positions for skilled workers in the metal fabrication industry, is expected to begin in mid-2014.
“This significant investment and the jobs we are adding in the next couple of years showcase our continued commitment to the Columbus Region,” said Bob Watts, Vice President, UNI-FACS. “We’re looking forward to a bright future thanks to our new equipment, which will increase quality and efficiency for our customers, as well as our growing roster of talent.”
“UNI-FACS has a deep history in Columbus, with its nearly 30-year residency,” said Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman. “The company has provided support steel in many key Columbus projects such as Nationwide Arena, OSU facilities and Crew Stadium. It’s always great to see longtime Columbus companies continue to expand and invest here.”
