Office360 Expands Indianapolis, Indiana, Operations
07/12/2017
The company will invest $764,500 to update equipment at its 80,000-square-foot headquarters at 7301 Woodland Drive in Indianapolis, allowing the company to modernize its IT infrastructure and to improve its overall cost effectiveness and efficiency for its clients.
"We are very fortunate to be based in Indiana. Its central location and pro-business climate, including its reasonable taxes and fair-minded regulations, allow us to succeed and grow with confidence. What’s more, Indiana’s workforce is second-to-none. Hoosiers understand the benefits of working with a progressive, local supplier,” said Steve Nahmias, one of Office360's principals. “We appreciate partners like the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and KSM Location Advisors who have helped make today's announcement possible.”
As an incentive, Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Office360 up to $125,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $110,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The city of Indianapolis supports the project in partnership with Develop Indy, a business unit of the Indy Chamber.
"Small businesses like Office360 are at the heart of our economy, providing more than 1.2 million Hoosiers with good jobs," said Elaine Bedel, President of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. "In Indiana, we have been recognized as having the No. 1 regulatory climate for small businesses, and we will continue to support Hoosier entrepreneurs by keeping costs low, investing in our statewide infrastructure and ensuring our workforce is prepared for the jobs of tomorrow.”
“The city of Indianapolis has been a proud home of Office360 since its start less than a decade ago, and news of this additional investment and expansion is another sign of the times,” said Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett. “Economic development in Indianapolis is strong, and we’re thrilled to continue growing alongside Office360 in the years to come.”
