Archer Daniels Midland Inaugurates Columbus, Nebraska Ethanol Mill
07/13/2010
"Having these operations in the same complex provides us with an advantage, not just in terms of production efficiency, but also in terms of access to our nationwide transportation network, to a ready supply of Nebraska corn, and to a talented work force," said Patricia Woertz, company chairman, CEO, and president.
When ADM opens its corn dry mill in Cedar Rapids, Iowa later this year, the company will have a total ethanol production of 1.8 billion gallons annually.
ADM has had operations in Columbus since 2002.
