Korean Auto Components Manufacturer Expanding to Kentucky

07/02/2008
INFAC Corporation, a producer and supplier of mechanical cables and electronics equipment for the automotive industry, will locate a sales and distribution center in Campbellsville, Kentucky. The South Korean-based company will manufacture emergency brake cables at the 52,500-square-foot facility beginning in the fourth quarter of this year. Approximately 75 new jobs are expected as a result of the expansion. "There are three fundamental reasons why INFAC Corporation chose the Campbellsville-Taylor county site - geography, resources, and atmosphere," says Jay Choi, director of the company's North American operations. "It is centrally located among the majority of the U.S. auto manufacturers, offers available facilities and work force familiar with the automotive markets, and it just feels safe here."
