Booe Machinery & Salvage Plans Expansion Of Its McCook, Nebraska, Production Facility
08/06/2014
Federal CDBG funds will be used to pave and install gutters and storm sewers along the primary road leading into the McCook Industrial Park, thereby providing Booe Machinery & Salvage with access to two lots, where the business is building a scrap metal receiving station. The company has an existing recycling operation in Atlanta, Nebraska, seven miles southwest of Holdrege.
Additional funding of $127,000 from the City of McCook's Economic Development Fund and the McCook Economic Development Corporation will complete the project. Federal funds are made available to Nebraska from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's CDBG program, which assists with the development of businesses and communities throughout the state.
