"The greater Wichita area is one of the major aerospace manufacturing centers in the world, and its work force and infrastructure enables TECT Power to provide our customers with high-technology, cost-competitive manufacturing and supply chain solutions," said General Manager Derek Hallmark. "We are very happy to expand our presence here."
TECT Power serves companies in the aviation, industrial, and marine sectors, including Pratt & Whitney, General Electric, Rolls-Royce, Siemens, Spirit AeroSystems, and Carlton Forge.
The Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition (GWEDC) worked with Sedgwick County, the city of Wichita, and the Kansas Department of Commerce on an incentives package for TECT. The Wichita City Council and Board of County Commissioners will vote on the package in the coming weeks.
