Software Developer Expanding, Adding 300 Jobs in New Brunswick

Professional Quality Assurance Ltd. (PQA), a software development and information technology company, will add 300 new jobs at its offices in Fredericton and Moncton, New Brunswick, according to the Canadian Press (CP). The provincial government will provide more than CAN$2.2 million to the company -- approximately $7,544 for each full-time position -- to assist with training, equipment, and expansion. "This expansion is allowing us to build on our existing reputation for excellence, with our customers here and around the world," says Keith McIntosh, PQA's president. "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to hire more New Brunswickers, whose creativity, skills, and superior work ethic have helped us build this successful company here in my home province." The new positions will be hired over the next three years.
