Eccalon Plans Detroit, Michigan, Headquarters Operations

Technology solutions company Eccalon plans to establish headquarters operations in Detroit, Michigan. The $25 million project is expected to create approximately 800 jobs.

The company’s new innovation and workforce development hub will provide programs including cybersecurity, underwater drone production, AI/ML research, biotech, energy solutions, and sports and entertainment broadcasting.

“Eccalon is proud to be able to bring this project to Detroit, and we look forward to helping Detroit and Michigan continue to grow,” said André Gudger, Chairman & CEO of Eccalon.

To support the project a $10 million Michigan Business Development Program (MBDP) grant has been awarded as well as a five-year State Essential Services Act exemption with an estimated value of $249,120.
