04/20/2026
The investment will include an additional 26,000 square feet at the company’s existing facility to support increased production capacity and the launch of new medium-voltage cable products.
“This expansion will upgrade the facility to relieve certain manufacturing constraints and enable the launch of additional products,” said Stan Calloway, Vice President of Operations at AmerCable. “These investments will support growing demand across data center, mining, and industrial markets.”
AmerCable manufactures low- and medium-voltage electrical power, control, and instrumentation cables, serving customers in industrial, energy, and infrastructure markets.
“AmerCable is helping power the global economy with its products produced in El Dorado, Arkansas,” noted Clint O’Neal, Executive Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. “This expansion reflects continued investment in a community with a strong workforce and supportive business environment.”
“AmerCable’s expansion is a powerful vote of confidence in El Dorado and our workforce,” added Steven Jones, President and CEO of the El Dorado–Union County Chamber of Commerce. “This project represents continued investment and momentum for our local economy.”
