Unilever Investing $35M in Raeford, North Carolina

Unilever is expanding its manufacturing plant in Raeford, North Carolina, with a $35 million investment. The consumer product company will create 65 jobs there. The One North Carolina Fund is supporting the growth with a $195,000 grant.

"Our Raeford facility will make effective use of this generous grant by providing the necessary training to our new hires as part of our site expansion," said Georgia Szewczak, Raeford supply leader. "We are very grateful for the support of the One North Carolina Fund program to further drive our own competitiveness in the market, as well as provide jobs and additional tax revenue to the local region."

Unilever produces Dove, AXE, Caress, Suave, and Degree brand deodorants, body washes, and shampoos in Raeford.
