Incentives Help Aeroflex Open in Michigan

Aeroflex, a company that designs, manufactures, and markets wireless communication components for defense and commercial markets, is opening a facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan with assistance from state and local incentives. The company will receive $508,000 total.

The manufacturer will consolidate the production of a resistor product line from a New Jersey site to Ann Arbor. It will invest $3 million to add space, machinery and equipment.

Aeroflex considered remaining in New Jersey or growing at another location in New Hampshire, but ultimately settled on Michigan. The company was founded in 1937 and employees 2,600 people around the world.
