Steuben Foods Seeking Incentives for $52M Expansion
06/02/2010
"Everything needs to be lined up," Tom Krol, general counsel for Steuben, told Business First of Buffalo. "At this point, we are expecting a favorable outcome across the board."
The company is seeking a sales tax break and payment in lieu of taxes package from the Erie County Industrial Development Agency. It is also in talks with the Empire State Development Corporation for New York Power Authority grants for 8.75 megawatts of inexpensive hydropower.
Steuben produces shelf-stable dairy products.
