4moms Invests $4.7 Million To Expand Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Operations Facility

07/14/2014
4moms, a manufacturer of innovative robotic baby gear products, continues its expansion in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The firm recently announced that the company has outgrown its current site and will move to new office space. This move will allow the company to double its building space and employment. 4moms plans to invest more than $4.7 million at the new site and has committed to creating at least 120 new jobs and retaining 100 existing employees over the next three years.

“4moms is poised for exponential growth over the next several years, including hiring 50 additional employees by the end of 2014, launching several new products in 2015 and breaking $100 million in revenue in 2016,” said Rob Daley, CEO of 4moms. “We are grateful for the support of Governor Corbett and the state of Pennsylvania and are proud to be recognized as a pillar of the Pittsburgh business community."

Founded 2005, 4moms has announced six expansion projects in less than five years. The company anticipates finalizing its latest expansion and moving to a new location by end of 2014.

“We are building a stronger Pennsylvania by encouraging companies to be at the forefront of innovation and advancement,” said Governor Tom Corbett. “Our partnerships with companies such as 4moms are a big part of the reason that Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate is at a five year low and private sector jobs are at the highest level on record.”

The Governor's Action Team worked with the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance and 4moms to assist the Pittsburgh company’s continued growth in the region.
