Leading Edge Manufacturing Expands Youngsville-Broussard, Louisiana, Operations

Metal fabrication company Leading Edge Manufacturing plans to expand its operations in Youngsville and Broussard, Louisiana. The project is expected to create 20 jobs in Lafayette Parish.

The investment at the company’s existing facilities will include the addition of a full night shift to increase production capacity.

“Leading Edge Manufacturing has experienced significant growth over the past several years, and this expansion is a direct reflection of our commitment to meeting our customers’ needs while continuing to invest in our team,” said Leading Edge Manufacturing CEO Stephanie Clotiaux. “Louisiana, and specifically the Acadiana region, provides us with a strong workforce and a supportive business environment that allows us to grow strategically and sustainably.”

To support the project the state of Louisiana offered Leading Edge Manufacturing the workforce development solutions of LED FastStart.

“Existing Louisiana companies play an important role in driving our state’s economic momentum,” noted Louisiana Economic Development (LED) Secretary Susan B. Bourgeois. “Leading Edge Manufacturing’s continued growth is creating new career opportunities while helping ensure the next generation of manufacturing talent is developed here in Louisiana.”

Leading Edge Manufacturing provides sheet metal fabrication, powder coating and metal finishing services for industrial and commercial customers, including the maritime, power distribution, accommodations and HVAC industries.
