Gerard Daniel Worldwide Expands Hanover, Pennsylvania, Manufacturing Operations

Porous media manufacturer and distributor Gerard Daniel Worldwide plans to expand its operations in Hanover, Pennsylvania. The $2.1 million project is expected to create 35 jobs in York County.

The investment at the company’s existing facility will include building infrastructure upgrades, including the installation of a new electrical transformer, and new manufacturing equipment.

“Gerard Daniel Worldwide is excited to continue its long-standing partnership with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” said Gerard Daniel Worldwide CEO Jack Slinger. “As a company headquartered in Pennsylvania, we remain committed to investing in and expanding our manufacturing operations throughout the state. We are grateful to Governor Shapiro for his continued support and dedication to fostering economic growth.”

To support the project, the company received a funding proposal from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) for a $200,000 Pennsylvania First grant.

“Gerard Daniel Worldwide has been part of Pennsylvania’s manufacturing legacy for more than 50 years, and we’re proud to support its continued growth in York County,” noted Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development Secretary Rick Siger. “Investments like this strengthen our manufacturing base, create new opportunities for Pennsylvanians, and reinforce the fact that Pennsylvania is competing, and winning, for jobs and investment in our communities.”

Gerard Daniel Worldwide manufactures and distributes porous media used in filtration, separation, and barrier applications. The company serves industries including aerospace, automotive, food and beverage, and agriculture.
