Trison Wells Expands Walterboro, South Carolina, Operations

Contract manufacturer Trison Wells plans to expand its operations in Walterboro, South Carolina. The $3.37 million project is expected to create 30 jobs in Colleton County.

The investment at the company’s existing facility, located at 1756 Industrial Road, will include the addition of a liquid-fill production line.

“We are very excited and proud of this manufacturing expansion to our Walterboro facility, bringing manufacturing jobs to the region and supporting the U.S. consumer goods market. With the local talent and the support of Colleton County through the economic alliance, we will make this project a success,” said Trison Wells General Manager Jonathan Johnson.

Trison Wells is a contract manufacturer specializing in private-label consumer cleaning products. The company manufactures products for the laundry, household, personal, pet and automotive care markets.

“Trison Wells’ multi-million-dollar investment in one of the Palmetto State’s rural counties is a win for South Carolina. We look forward to the company’s continued growth as our state maintains its strong manufacturing reputation,” noted Secretary of Commerce Harry M. Lightsey III.

“Trison Wells’ expansion of its operations in Colleton County is a testament to the strength of our regional workforce and our pro-business environment. Each of the 30 jobs created in this expansion will create a better opportunity and brighter future for our families here in the SouthernCarolina Alliance region,” added SouthernCarolina Alliance Chairman Steve Murdaugh.
