Greenway Medical Technologies to Invest $12 million Expansion Project Adding 400 Jobs to Carrollton, GA, Economy

Carroll County-based Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. is reported to be expanding its corporate headquarters in Carrollton, GA, by making a $12 million capital investment and creating 400 jobs over the next three years.

Greenway Medical Technologies provides electronic health records, ambulatory healthcare and clinical research business solutions to over 27,000 healthcare providers nationwide. The IT firm currently employs more than 450 workers at its existing Carrollton facility.

Greenway Medical Technologies' expansion calls for the construction of two new buildings, totaling 80,000 square feet, which will include a new corporate headquarters plus training facilities and employee service options.

Company officials said they selected Carroll County for the corporate expansion due to proximity to existing facilities - and the pro-business environment on the local and state level.
