India-Based Info Tech Firm to Add 100 jobs in Cary, NC

HCL Technologies expects to add nearly 100 employees to its Cary, North Carolina, workforce during the next six months, according to a story by The News & Observer.

The India-based information technology company also might double its staff by year-end 2013, stated the article. If that scenario happens, HCL's staff would increase from 380 to 800 workers.

HCL America President Shami Khorana said his firm feels "very, very confident about [those projections]. We see a good growth path."

HCL is a $6 billion leading global technology and IT enterprise comprising two companies listed in India: HCL Technologies and HCL Infosystems. HCL America, established in 1989, is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California.
