Machine Product Manufacturer Moving to New Hampshire

Chamberlain Machine Inc., a manufacturer of machine products, will move to Walpole, New Hampshire, upon completion in January 2009 of a new 47,000-square-foot facility. The company, currently based in Bellows Falls, Vermont, will employ approximately 52 people. "We are moving to New Hampshire primarily because of the state's lower tax burden, quality real estate options, and available and skilled labor," says Scott Boynton, Chamberlain's vice president and production manager. The company manufactures, assembles, and tests products for the fluid power, pump, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, rail, and medical industries. The New Hampshire Division of Economic Development says the company is set to begin hiring machinists for the new facility.
