Freudenberg-NOK Set to Hire at Bristol, New Hampshire Facility
08/17/2010
Now the facility has 265 employees, still below its 285-employee peak, but higher than a low of 140 workers after layoffs lasting from 2008 to 2009.
"It's an exciting time for us," General Manager Dean Laughy told the Monitor. "It's good to see American manufacturing coming back online at the rate it has done."
The plant's production dropped up to 40 percent from February 2008 to 2009. Since August 2009, business has improved. The situation was similar at Freudenberg-NOK facilities in Ashland and Manchester, New Hampshire.
