Plastics Manufacturer Moving International Operation to Kentucky

Fluortubing USA, a manufacturer of plastic tubing, will expand its existing operation in Campbellsville, Kentucky, and move part of its operations from its subsidiary company, Netherlands-based Fluortubing B.V., to the Kentucky facility, according to the Kentucky governor's office. The $1.1 million investment will create 25 new jobs. The company has purchased a 48,000-square-foot facility to house the first phase of the expansion. "The opportunity to come  home to Kentucky and bring good-paying, highly technical jobs to the state has been a personal dream of mine for many years," says Jack Wisdom, Fluortubing USA president, who confirmed that North Carolina was also considered as a location. The state of Kentucky will provide tax benefits of up to $325,000 to Fluortubing.
