Handbook Offers Insight On Foreign Direct Investment
The Vale Columbia Center on Sustainable International Investment handbook provides advice for building a FDI-attraction strategy.
Vale Columbia Center (Location USA 2010)

A new handbook from the Vale Columbia Center on Sustainable International Investment offers insight and advice for small-to-medium sized cities in emerging markets on promoting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)

While the primary audience are emerging market economic development professionals, the handbook is also a great resource for municipal leaders interested in exploring ways to promote themselves as a destination for FDI.

It can also be useful for creating and developing an initial FDI-attraction strategy, an investment promotion agency and the development of an after-care program that will help retain the FDI.
